I want a baby Koala

Dear Mum
How adorable would it be cuddling a baby koala?
Please could I have a baby koala? They're so cute and you will love it.

I would really like a koala because they are so cute and fluffy. I would clean its cage every day. It would only go toilet in its basket because I would train it to. The koala might be out of its cage but you will never see it because it’s so small. The koalas toilet will always be empty and the koala would never be hungry.

It is a baby and that means you will never ever see it. This will make you so happy that it will not steal food and it will not annoy you. Mum you will not know I have the koala in my room you will completely forget about it after a few weeks.

Koalas are so cute cuddly and fluffy. It will sleep with me every night and when you come to see me you will think it is one of my soft toys. The koala will cuddle for so long on to its cuddle pole I would even plant some trees for it to sit in.

I would look after it as best as I could. Please, pretty please, could I have a tiny baby koala?

Yours sincerely
Olivia

Should cats be controlled

I strongly believe that we should all help to control cats. I think that all cats should have microchips. The cats in the wild are breeding and our native birds are getting hurt.

Our native birds are getting hurt by these terrible cats. The whole of new zealand are decreasing on the number of native new zealand birds. The cats are only hurting our birds because they are not controlled by their owners or the SPCA. New Zealand native animals are not doing anything to the cats so why do the cats hurt them. Some of our native animals like kiwi nest on the ground. They are the easiest birds to catch because the cats can slink into the bush.

When the cats breed in the wild they are increasing the number of cats who are not owned. When more cats are born there are more cats to kill our native birds and animals. Many cats in the wild are not found by us, the SPCA or animals that hunt cats. Cats are very good at running climbing or sneaking away.

In my opinion i think that every single cat should have a microchip. Microchips are things that will carry the owner's information. If cats get lost they will hopefully be found and will be sent back to their owner.

The native birds are getting hurt with the cats around. Our cats are breeding in the wild. Microchips should be on all cats. I believe that we should control cats.
